Welcome to GET S.M.A.R.T.® consulting services, a unit of De Novo Enterprises, LLC. GET S.M.A.R.T. is an innovative educational program utilizing our S.M.A.R.T. analysis to help you determine how clearly your trademark or service mark--your brand--is defined and promoted and how well your policies or systems will protect it.
We offer a 3-hour workshop that is structured for a minimum group of 6 and a maximum group of 18 participants and includes a case study and break-out session. For groups larger than 18, separate workshops will be scheduled. Ongoing consulting services are available after completion of the workshop.
Our program is led by our principal, Linda Tancs. Ms. Tancs managed the worldwide trademark portfolio of leading industrial and consumer products companies during her legal career. She regularly counseled in-house attorneys, executives and small business owners on trademark, trade dress, advertising, domain name issues and product packaging. She has been included in various editions of Who's Who in American Law, Who's Who of American Women and Who's Who in the East. Her latest book, Understanding Trademark Law: A Beginner's Guide, will be published by Oxford University Press.
